Past City Councillor, Stephen Russell has posted on the City of South Perth Community Noticeboard website about his concerns in relation to a meeting between Mayor Greg Milner, CoSP Executives and a Developer in relation to the possible sale of the Burch St Carpark and 57 Angelo St. Mr Russell has concerns in relation to issues around the sale of public lands and disclosure of financial interest.

CoSPRA is concerned that the sale of the Burch St carpark would result in the closure of the South Perth Community Hospital. This is a vital healthcare facility that the whole city cannot afford to lose.
